CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) and Assessment Systems
support is responsible for technical maintenance of the property
systems and databases used by the Assessor’s office. The CAMA
division conducts an annual residential building costs study,
reviews depreciation rates and updates building costs and land value
tables in the property appraisal system. The division provides
technical support and training for the Assessor’s office on computer
related issues. It is also responsible for entering building permit
data collected from cities and the County into the property system,
creating new plats in the property systems, sketching structure
footprints from blueprints, indexing of digital photos and
maintaining situs address information
